Qualification of students in the 2nd stage of the 4th Panhellenic Competition in Statistics
14 Mandoulides Schools students of the junior and senior High School qualified for the 2nd stage of the 4th Panhellenic Competition in Statistics.
The Hellenic Statistical Authority organized the 4th Panhellenic Competition in Statistics, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs, in the framework of the implementation of the program "Development of statistical education in Greece".
The purpose of the competition is to attract students' interest in statistical science, the production of official statistics and their use in everyday life, but also to highlight the value of official statistics in other areas, such as economics and policy making.
It is noteworthy to stress that this competition does not require the physical presence of students or teachers, but everything is done on an electronic platform through the internet.
In the 2nd stage of the competition, 3 groups of students of the junior High School and 3 groups of students of the senior High School qualified. The 14 students of the Schools that qualified are:
8th Grade: A. Adamos , D. Ignatiadis, E. Konstandinidou, P. – P. Nikou, D. Tragiannidis, E. Halidis
9th Grade: E. Adamou, I. – E. Kenanidis
10th Grade: G. Iakovidis, K. Konstantinidis, O. Konstantinidis, A. Tsiorvas, R. Tsiorvas
11th Grade: P. Tzartzi
