Informative meetings for 9th grade and 10th grade students in relation to the programme “Studies Abroad”
9th grade and 10th grade students had the opportunity to receive information about the programme “Studies Abroad” by the Counseling Center of Mandoulides Schools, regarding tertiary education studies in universities abroad.
The director of the programme “Studies Abroad” and principal of junior high school Mrs. F. Bathrellou attended to and coordinated the presentation. Students were informed about the goals and benefits of the programme by the counselors and teachers in charge, Mrs. Ε. Michalakopoulou regarding the universities of the USA and Canada, Mrs. S. Nikoloudaki regarding the universities of Great Britain and Mrs. Ο. Dantsi regarding the European universities.
The “Studies Abroad” programme facilitates Mandoulides Schools in preparing the students for studies abroad in parallel with studies in Greek universities, broadening in this way their choices. Without attending an International Baccalaureate (IB) programme, students get positions and scholarships in top universities abroad.
In addition, there was a reference to the Exam Preparation Courses (SAT, TOEFL, IELTS) and the Entrepreneurship Programmes, which are based on the principles of experiential learning and are part of the school vocational guidance of Mandoulides Schools.
Finally, there was a presentation of Summer Educative Programmes in prestigious universities in Europe and America. During these programmes, students have the chance to enrich their knowledge in terms of their interests and to broaden their horizons on a social and cultural level, for they come in contact with students from all over the world.
