Art & Science Webinars: Programming Thinking and Algorithmic Logic

After the successful Webinar on “Mathematical Thinking and Reasoning,” Mandoulides Schools are organizing a Webinar on Programming and Robotics, which will be dedicated to the great scientist Seymour Papert, creator of the Logo programming language, founder of Educational Robotics and one of the pioneers in the field of Artificial Intelligence. The Webinar will be held on Saturday, 19 February, at 17:00 - 19:00.

Τhe Webinar aims to introduce students to the Panhellenic Informatics Competition as well as the First Lego League competition (FLL) of Robotics and Innovation. Our young students will familiarize themselves with algorithmic logic, while having the opportunity to discover step by step the preparation that needs to be done, in order for them to be able to participate in the Panhellenic Informatics Competition and the FLL competition.

Through this journey of knowledge, we aim to introduce our students to the world of Programming and Robotics as well as enable them to become acquainted with important algorithms, discover how they can learn to program using the most efficient methods and create interesting Robotics projects for the FLL competition.

Τhe Webinar is addressed to 5th-9th grade students from Greece and the Greek Diaspora.
