Participation in the International Physics Olympiad 2023

Student Konstantinos Konstantinidis (12th Grade) will be in the 5-member National Olympic Physics Team and represent Greece in the 53rd International Physics Olympiad, which will be held this year in Tokyo, Japan from 10th to 17th July 2023, where about 400 students from 80 countries will participate.

The student was entitled to participate in the Olympiad because he was among the top in the 2nd Round of the Panhellenic Physics Competition for 12th Grade “Aristotle”, which was held on 22nd April at the premises of the Department of Physics of the University of Athens.

Upon the Panhellenic exams, the student along with the rest of the students of the mission will attend intensive preparation courses for about 10 days on theoretical and experimental topics with the help of professors and associates of the NKUA and/or Hellenic Physics Society on Science and Education members, and then they will go to Tokyo.
